General Concept

This concept packet is all based on Appalachian culture and folklore with an emphasis on fantasy. The inhabitants of the land are all goblins, who are used to mining the land for resources, and up to this point make sure to not take too much. Unfortunately, the mining company is under new management, and they’ve lost respect for the land. As a result, pollution magic is spreading, and turning the local flora and fauna into powerful and dangerous creatures. Our main character is a rancher who is sick and tired of the passive attitudes her fellow goblins have towards the new mining policies, and she decides to take it upon herself to learn the magic of her ancestors and fight to save her environment.
